   this is awesome.
   and so funny – i was just thinking today about my visit and wondering if there are any fairs are going on while i’m there. that would be a fun photo adventure…

     oh man, that would be awesome. alas, this one ends next weekend and allegan isn’t until september 9. sigh. we’ll find something else to do 🙂 and thank you!

   Wow, that is amazing. In the mall parking lot across the road from my office (where they hold the occasional carnival) as I left this evening was a Ferris wheel that was in exactly the same state. The only way I know you didn’t take this picture in Reno is that we had cloudless skies today.

   Also, I am in awe of the engineering involved in making all those rides that collapse into a semi-trailer-size package for transport.
