We got our Christmas tree today, just as the skies were getting gloomy. Giganomous low clouds, bellies full of snow make a great backdrop for bare branches. Now we are home, the tree is decorated and we’re warming up with bowls of chili.

I’m migrainous. I’ve been up since 4:10 this morning. *overtime overtime overtime* I’ve been trying to get through the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (the film) with Miss W this evening but had to call a time out. That is one incredibly long movie.

Hell’s bells. I’ve just finished Changes, the 12th Dresden novel. I got a little choked up. I got a few serious surprises. I really never thought Harry would make that choice, but I would have done the very same thing. Wow. Just wow. Thank you, Jim Butcher. Keep them coming.
