our acorns have sprouted! we’re very pleased.
we’ll find a couple of good spots in the yard to transplant them toward the end of the summer.
sadly, our sunflowers did not fare so well. we’ll plant a new batch of them though.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!
They are so cute! You may want to spread them out a bit, even one per pot in 4in pots so they have room to grow are are more easily transplanted. My 4 yr old tree is in a 5 gal planter on the deck…
I cannot fully express how happy this makes me to know you and Miss W are growing a forest!!!
Oh, good thinking, I’ll separate them tomorrow. Thank you 🙂 I’m so excited that they sprouted, I was worried that they wouldn’t. I’m tempted to keep one in a large pot in the house because I think it would be kind of cool.
So great. Growing things from seed is always so gratifying for me.
What kind of oak tree is it ??
I actually don’t know. I know almost nothing at all about trees, sadly.
