“I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you’ll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you’ll make something that didn’t exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.” ~Neil Gaiman

Borrowed, but no less sincere.

This is my new favorite photograph of Miss W.  The Mister shot it this week during a family gathering.

I read The Warrior by Jim Butcher yesterday, a Dresden novelette that appeared in the Mean Streets anthology (and in Side Jobs – a Dresden anthology).  If you never read any other Dresden story, read this one.  It is perhaps a little more obvious in places than the usual Dresden fare, but it is moving and it will make you think.  Good words for a new year, without a doubt.

I hope you all have a wonderful 2012.  I hope we do too.
